IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR:
Tuesday, 4/9: Students will receive their Stained Glass Window Project. This will be the final assessment grade in the grade book for the quarter. We will have some time to work on it in class, but I also encourage students to work on the project at home. The project will be due on Thursday, 4/18. No late projects will be accepted. If your child is absent on 4/18, please get a copy of the project to me electronically. I encourage all students to take photos of their completed projects for their records. Of course, students may turn their projects in early.
Wednesday, 4/10: This is the deadline for the Assitment (review) that students must complete in order to retake the AzMerit Practice Test. I have included the entire retake process below.
1. Complete Assistment: can be found on edulastic.com (username= firstinitial.lastname; password = 12345)
OR students may complete on a hard copy (given out in class).
2. Turn in assistment (work must be turned in as well) and signed copy of original assessment.
3. Meet with Miss Gallinger (cannot plan to meet during Wednesday afternoon office hours due to mandatory stay full day needs) to review assistment. Students are to send an email to schedule an appointment.
These first three steps must be completed by 5/10.
4. Schedule a time to retake the test.
This final step must be completed by 5/17.
Monday, 5/15: Sixth grade field trip to the Planetarium and Arizona Science Center. Information was sent home by your child's science teacher.
